K-POP's introduction

K-POP is the concept called "Korean pop" and "large South Korean POPS" at the end of the 1980s, and is South Korean (Korea) public music.

In order that media of Japan may use "K-POP" in the sense of "South Korean public music", this language has permeated in Japan.

In Japan, a word called J-POP began to be used for popular music around from 1988, around from the first half of the 1990s in which it was established, South Korean popular music is pointed out and a word called K-POP began to be used.
