Geography of Guatemala

[About the geography]






Guatemala faces the Pacific and the Caribbean and  consists of most of  a mountainous region without the coast. Because the crimate is the tropical zone, the temperature is high, but, highlands are mild.Guatemala has a Atitlan lake called most beautiful lake in the world at the foot of the Toriman volcano which is a volcanic country and resembled Mt. Fuji in Japan. Almost all the major cities are located in the south half of a country. The major cities are capital Guatemala,Quezaltenango,and Escuintla. In addition, Puerto Barrios exists in the Caribbean Sea side as a port town.
